It’s great how many progressive strides the Indian Supreme Court has taken of late. The ruling party deserves no credit, of course, because this (like past instances) has been a purely judicial affair. It’s equally wonderful that at least the court system in India—perhaps I should say at least the apex court—is functioning honourably.
